More Mutants

Finished off the latest batch of mutants yesterday. From the top we have a Mongoose Judge Dread mutant, the next two are LAF miniatures and the last two are from Hasslefree. I now don't have any miniatures left for this project to paint from the first order I made but I'm already eyeing up some new ones to buy.

Cheers Jon

  1. Those are very cool. The big guy near the bottom is my favorite but I also think you did a great job on the little girl's dress.

  2. Thanks Joe.
I was quite pleased with how the little girl mutant came out she is really dinky (like a 15mm mini). The big guy is called Grant. Hasslefree do three versions of him one of the other versions is in the previous post below.

  3. Look fantastic. By the way, I'm fairly sure you've already mentioned this elsewhere, but what rules are you going to be using in your post=apoc game?

  4. lead legion - my general thoughts at the moment are to use 1st edition 40k (ignoring the background of course).

1st edition is very much a skirmish game and already has rules for mutants, vehicles, grenades, robots and even plantlife.

Some of the rules are a little clunky (the vehicle rules in the main) so I'm thinking of doing a few house rules using some ideas from the now defunct GW GorkaMorka game (which was is basically Mad Max with Orks).

  5. That is a, frankly, awesome idea. I'm dying to see how that works out. I love Rogue Trader and still use it myself quite a bit. Any chance of sharing your house rules with us once you've had a chance to try them out?
